>>Land of the Dead
Release date August
Director George A. Romero
Starring Dennis Hopper, Simon Baker, John Leguizamo
Land of the Dead marks the legendary director's return to the horror genre he invented. Seemingly obsessed by zombies, Romero's movies created visions of the rising dead more harrowing than Michael Jackson's Thriller video. Land of the Dead takes us to a modern-day world where the walking dead roam across wasteland while the living attempt to lead their lives behind the walls of a fortified city. While an army of dead grows on the outside, anarchy rises on the inside. With their survival at stake, a group of mercenaries act to protect the living from the zombies. Edge of the seat tension, gore and drama are guaranteed, but it's not really one for a bright and cheery summer's eve.

Directed by Bryan Singer, who includes the X-Men movies amongst his credits, Superman Returns is a new chapter in the saga of the infamous superhero. Superman must bridge the distance between them while saving the world from cataclysmic destruction.
Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey also star in this action-adventure that takes our hero from the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of outer space.
