The days of celluloid gambling are back and this time the arena is high stake poker.

Lucky You sees Eric Bana of The Hulk fame as Huck, a down-on-his-luck poker player who plays all out, all the time.

Having to deal with some major personal problems, Huck sets out to win the biggest game of them all – the World Poker Series – whilst also trying to score with his love life.

The effervescent Drew Barrymore plays the obligatory love interest, singer Billie Offer, following up her performance in Music and Lyrics with another songstress role.

Before Huck can take the prize, he must face his greatest obstacle and fiercest foe – his father – as they go head to head in a battle for the ultimate crown of World Poker Champion.

Director Curtis Hanson counts L.A. Confidential and 8 Mile amongst his past critically acclaimed hits. Harking back to the gambling days of old, if you liked The Hustler or The Color of Money, then Lucky You may well turn out to be a winner.
